Dear University Faculty for Life Member:

Iím writing to encourage you to renew your University Faculty for Life (UFL) membership for 2012. All of the pertinent information is available on the UFL website, (http://www.uffl.org/membership.html), and is also enclosed with this letter.

Also make plans now to attend our upcoming annual conference, which will be at Brigham Young University in Provo on June 1-12, 2012. The keynote speaker and winner of the Smith Award for outstanding contributions to pro-life scholarship is Dr. William E. May, Michael J. This will be the first time we've had one of our annual conferences at BYU, and we are looking forward to an excellent conference. The On-site Conferences Director, Professor Lynn Wardle, is known to many for his extensive contributes to the legal literature in defending the unborn. Registration information is available on the UFL website and is also enclosed with this letter.

It is not too late to propose a scholarly presentation of your own prolife work. Paper proposals should be one page (maximum) and should including the working title of the proposed paper, authorís name, affiliation, full contact information (including address, phone, fax and email), and a brief abstract or outline. Proposals should be sent no later than April 7, 2012, to Professor Barbara Freres at bjfreres@stritch.edu.

Finally I encourage you to checkout the UFL blog. We hope that this blog will inform our membership about UFL activities as well as serve as a way to note recent scholarship and other recent developments on pro-life issues.

Thank you for your continued contributions to building a culture of life.

Sincerely,
