Students are apparently being censored at Carleton University in Ottawa. Officials say that the life-affirming positions of Carlton Lifeline conflict with an anti-discrimination passage in university policies which considers abortion only in terms of “a woman’s right.” Carleton Lifeline can exist only if the group’s constitution is altered to reflect the university’s compulsory perspective on the issue. The students could use support from life-affirming academics to uphold their free-speech rights.
