That statute prohibited abortions due to disability, sex, or race, and also required that the remains of aborted babies be disposed of in a dignified manner. The Indiana law was held unconstitutional on September 22, 2017 by a federal district court judge in Indiana. Curtis Hill, Indiana’s Attorney General, has announced that the state will appeal the ruling.
