Texas Supreme Court Decision in Heartbeat Case

Here is a short article by Ed Whelan reporting on a decision by the Texas Supreme Court. The United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit had asked the Texas Supreme Court to decide whether the Texas Heartbeat law could be enforced by Texas licensing officials. The Texas Supreme Court said no–and that decision effectively ends the abortion clinic’s constitutional challenge to the law.
